ARI recently introduced the 3rd generation of the Signal Peak bike. It is completely redesigned and ready for light and efficient rides, up- or downhill. The ultimate XC machine.
ARI managed to reduce the weight of the frame by 14,3% which brings the total of a size large frame to only 1.732 grams. By applying refined tube shapes stiffness went up at the same time. In short, lighter and more efficient.
The geometry has been revised. The head tube angle is 0,5° slacker than the previous generation and now comes in at 66,5°. Its effective seat tube is now 76°. Allowing installment of long-travel dropper posts.
A new suspension system called Tetra-Link Race Lite achieves 110 mm of rear-wheel travel. It is essentially a single-pivot system creating a fixed rear triangle with a flex zone located at the seat stays. These act as a leaf spring, ensuring the suspension works efficient, without wasting energy (see animation).
At full extension, energy stored in the rear triangle helps actuate the shock leading to a buttery smooth sensation off the top. Tuned flex in the seat stay locates the zero-energy position at sag allowing the seat stay to act as a leaf spring helping keep the bike at sag when pedaling and preventing pedal bob. Progressive ramp-up in the carbon seat stays provides a controlled end stroke so you can charge on the descents.
Top of the Signal Peak Team range is the Flight Attendant version, equipped with SRAM XX AXS drivetrain and Zipp 1Zero Hitop S carbon wheels. This one comes at a price* of $ 9.934 (direct pricing).
But the Pro XO version featuring SID Ultimate and DT Swiss XR 1700 wheels is $ 5.262. No wonder the Signal Peak has been awarded Best Value XC Bike of 2026.
