If you are into high-end road bikes, you would not have missed the launch of the new Cannondale SuperSix Evo earlier this week. The new SuperSix comes in various versions and designs. But the 2026 team bike of the St. Michel/PREFERENCE HOME/Auber 93 professional team stood out, especially in the shoot by photographer Aymeric Lassak. Fresh oranges and a fresh bike!

But whatever design or colour you choose, the new SuperSix EVO is a race machine pur sang. Cannondale managed to reduce the weight of the frame, bringing it to 728 grams and 410 grams for the fork. That’s 50 grams less than its predecessor.
The frame has been aerodynamically optimized, especially in the frontal impact area. Geometry of the 5th generation is a bit more aggressive with a reduction of stack in the front and a slight increase in reach. According to Cannondale’s Proportional Response philosophy, the behavior of the bike is the same regardless of what size frame you ride.
For more comfort you can now fit tyres up to 32 mm. But if you are looking for more comfort, you better go for the Synapse. The SuperSix remains a bike to go fast in the first place.
The cockpit has been completely redesigned, and all cables are fully integrated, as you may expect from this modern bike. The new Cannondale SystemBar handlebar is lighter and aerodynamically profiled.
In short, the updates are not dramatic but is more a refinement of what has been a great bike already. What surprised us is the drop in price for the new SuperSix EVO. Now you get a better bike for less money. Nice!
