The Berlin based Standert is well known for its metal manufactured bikes. Whether aluminium, scandium or steel, the company manages to come up with models that feast the eye. They appeal to people who love the classic look and the integration of traditional material and modern components.
The Pfadfinder is positioned as an all-road bike. To go the long-distance spending hours in the saddle. A bike for the road but ready for unexpected off-road challenges. Despite its weight of 9,5 kg, it is fast on the straights and very stabile in descends. And as long as you are not climbing the Mont Ventoux, you could use this bike every day, in all possible conditions.
By applying special powder coating techniques, it is extremely resistant to rust. With good reason they say at Standert “love never rusts”.
With the latest version launched in 2025, the Pfadfinder meets today’s requirements. It offers a versatile endurance geometry, full cable integration, 3D-printed dropouts, Columbus’ most advanced steel tubing and a clearance to fit 38 mm tyres.
The frame is made and painted in Europe. And from this moment, available in Beetle Green as well. Who says that the steel ‘industry’ can’t be green?
