The all-new Santa Cruz Nomad is equipped with a refined suspension offering efficient climbing, less reactivity under braking, and improved traction. It allows you to attack the most challenging trails with more confidence, and fun.
The new Nomad is lighter than its predecessor thanks to the slimmer downtube and the redesigned layup of the carbon frame. The changes versus the previous Nomad are small but crucial. The head angle is just a touch shorter, and the kinematics have been tweaked to get a bit more performance out of the VPP suspension layout.
A reduced anti-squat increases traction and pedalling efficiency while also improving performance over square-edge impacts. A flip-chip allows you to change the geometry depending on the trails you go for that day.
With 170 mm of travel in the front and the rear, this new Nomad is ready for some serious enduro riding. It is not the lightest bike, but the purpose is to go downhill as fast as possible and sort out some challenging jumps on the way. But please leave the risky parts to the likes of Jackson Goldstone or Nina Hoffmann of the Santa Cruz Syndicate Team.
