BMC recently launched the latest edition of their hardtail series, the Twostroke. A refined geometry and key technical upgrades bring this XC bike to a next level performance.
The reach of the frame has been extended, the seat tube angle steeper and the stem shorter. This new geometry offers more traction and thus confidence on tougher tracks. The D-shapes seat post offers more flexibility and comfort. But a dropper post can be fitted as well.
The Twostroke 01 ONE is race-ready with a remote controlled Rockshock SID SL Select 3P fork offering 110 mm of travel. Shifting is done with SRAM’s GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain with AXS pod controllers. The bike rolls on BMC’s XCD 30 Carbon wheels with a 30mm internal width to fit tyres up to 2,4”.
Brakes are by SRAM Motive with rotors of 180 mm in the front and 160 mm in the rear. Cabling is nicely tucked away both in the frame and the ICS carbon XC one-piece cockpit.
This bike is designed to race, whether XC racing or marathons. But nothing is keeping you to pack your bags and take this out for a multi-day trip. The Twostroke can be the bike you want it to be.
