The awarded full suspension XC bike of Salsa, the Spearfish, is now available in three new colours: deep orchid (purple), amber (orange) and graphite (grey). But whichever colour you choose, you’re in for an excellent ride.

Some media call it the Best Adventure XC Bike of 2025. And it received the Gear of the Year Award last year. So, there must be something good about the Spearfish. The looks are certainly clean, just the way we like it.

In its most advanced setup, the Spearfish weighs about 11,7 kg thanks to the extra-light carbon frame. Its geometry allows for covering serious miles during endurance rides but responsive in technical trails as well.  The Split Pivot suspension design delivers optimized traction both in technical climbs and steep descends.

With the Split Pivot+ system you can adapt the geometry to the ride you have in front of you. In addition, the rear shock flip chip makes it possible to change wheel and tyre sizes. Sufficient features to change riding characteristics.
