We know the Berk Composites brand from their premium carbon components, especially the full carbon saddles we frequently see on other high-end road bikes. But now they came up with their first ever carbon road frame. Entirely manufactured and assembled in their home-based workshop in Slovenia.

With the new Cesta, Berk intended to produce a bike that is suitable for everyday use. The frame is light but not extremely light as we would have expected from a brand like Berk. Nevertheless, a frame weight of 900 grams is very acceptable, considering the comfort it offers for your all-day ride. Especially with tyres fitted up to 32 mm.

Both frame and fork are produced in-house which is truly remarkable nowadays. They are finished in raw UD carbon revealing 3K weave reinforcements. Berk offers 18 different accent colours, to go with a matching Berk saddle. The BB is threaded; a standard UDH derailleur mount is included.  

You would expect a massive price tag for this exceptional handmade bicycle. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Both frameset and total build are friendly priced compared to some of the competition.
