The G5-X is Colnago’s next-generation gravel bike. It makes you go fast and confident on the most demanding terrain. The G5-X is not an evolution of its predecessor; it’s an entirely new gravel platform. Meeting today’s demands to ace anywhere the road takes you.
The G5-X draws on Colnago’s expertise in performance cycling. Its geometry is race-bred, developed for fast and demanding rides. The chain stays have become slightly longer and combined with some other small adjustments it should give more stability on fast descents.
The GX-5 offers a massive tyre clearance up to 53 mm, making it possible to install fat tyres for maximum grip and comfort. Frame and fork offer up to 6 mounting points, ready for bags, racks and bottles.
The lightweighted carbon frame holds an internal storage area in the down tube for your tools and spare parts. The Colnago carbon seat post is round, so it would be possible to install a dropper post for the steepest descents. Chainring clearance is 50T for a single ring or 2x all gravel setups, road compact or super-compact only.
