Today, Paris-Roubaix. The race across the northern regions of France. A challenge with the wind, the hills and of course, the cobbles. One of the best bikes to take up the challenge: the S-Works Roubaix SL8. What’s in a name.
The S-Works Roubaix SL8 has been around for a while but the 2026 model stands out with a smashing Gloss Toupe/Gunmetal Strata/Charcoal design. Almost if you are one with the cobbles.
The built-in Future Shock 3.0 and AfterShock technologies provide loads of comfort (53% less impact versus the competition). Regardless of position on the bike, every rider experiences 20 mm of travel between the stem and head tube. The shorter down tube allows for a longer exposure of the Pavé seat post. The possibility to fit tyres up to 40 mm adds to the comfort experience.
The ‘endurance’ geometry allows for long rides in the saddle feeling less pressure on hands, arms and shoulders. It is aerodynamically optimized with a new fork design and a shorter down tube. Frame weight has gone down versus its predecessor with 25 grams and comes at a total weight of 828 grams. According to Specialized, the Roubaix beats all in its class when it comes to speed and weight.
One of the contenders of Paris-Roubaix is the Belgian rider Jordi Meeus. Check out the video to see his ride on the cobbles. With the S-Works Roubaix SL8.
