The new KREISSÄGE RS has been designed completely from the ground up by the Standert team in Berlin. The frame, created with scandium and aluminium, is produced by Deddacciai in Northern Italy. It is painted by hand in several finishes and assembled back in the workshop in Berlin. Our favourite finish: Breakaway Black.
Scandium is a metallic element that is added to Aluminium, forming an incredibly strong alloy. It allows the production of thinner walled tubes, resulting in a lower weighted frame. According to Standert, the scandium frame offers an exceptional riding experience, lighter and stiffer than any other regular aluminium bike.
At first glance, the tubes look round but a closer look will show the aerodynamic forms created in head, top and down tube as well as in the chain stays. The frame comes with an aero-bladed carbon fork to match the aerodynamic package. In short, this bike is created to win races or set personal records.
