Orbea introduced their latest XC weapon, the Oiz. It is stiffer, offers more capable suspension and a refined geometry. Ready to race.
The goal of the new Oiz was to create the fastest and best-performing race bike possible. Multiple carbon layups were developed and tested before arriving at the final structure, balancing low weight with the stiffness, precision and ride feel required for elite XC racing.
Key highlights:
Redesigned frame construction that is stiffer and lighter using OMR and OMX carbon platforms. The OMX carbon frame (about 1.700 grams) is lighter and more advanced and to be found on the more advanced Oiz models.
A redesigned main pivot, a new forged alloy link and the use of sealed bearings ensure a stiffer, more flexible and friction free performance of the rear suspension.
The use of light OC components developed alongside the new Oiz. The integrated cockpit is stiff and ensures a clean look. The MP11 dropper post offers 100 mm of travel and infinite positions in between, handled by the latest Squidlock Remote control.

Useful is the integrated 8-piece multitool in the top tube and space for two bottle holders.
The integrated Spinblock system protects the frame from damage in case of falls.
Integrated rear brakes mounts offer more stiffness and a simplified setup.
Threaded bottom bracket for easier maintenance.

Designed specifically for Oiz, the compact chainguide provides reliable chain retention without unnecessary weight.
The exclusive M-LTD sits at the top of the Oiz OMX range. It is equipped with a Sram XX SL drivetrain, Motive Ultimate brakes and the lightest Oquo wheels in the catalogue. All OMX versions share the same Fox Factory Kashima suspension systems, with a 120 mm Fox 34 SL Factory fork and a Fox Float SL I-Line rear shock, specially developed for the Oiz.
Weight: 9,86 kg.
