The Aequus is a handmade carbon road bike, manufactured by SWI, originated in Ticino and currently based at the heart of the Veneto region. Combining Swiss precision and Italian passion in building the most advanced bespoke carbon bicycle frames.
This bike is not a climbing bike. It is not an aero bike. This bike is engineered for all-road use, all day long. The TPT™ carbon fibres are applied in 14 layers per 1 mm and can be customized to your riding style. This power-optimized lay-up is spread over 14 custom zones and by changing your data (weight, performance), the number of layers can be adjusted per zone. A truly rider specific and complex manufacturing process.

Frame weight varies between 720 and 790 grams, depending on rider weight and power output. The full carbon monocoque fork weighs 390 grams. It comes with a tyre clearance of 32 mm, making it ready for fast and comfortable rides. The frame comes with a lifetime warranty. SWI says 50 years and in most cases, this will do.
The Aequus as displayed above is equipped with a SRAM RED drivetrain and brakes plus a wide range of Polymer Workshop components:
Enhance 50:52 Wheelset (Custom Build). These wheels are engineered for optimal aerodynamics and stiffness, featuring a 50mm front and 52mm rear rim depth to balance crosswind stability with speed.
Rover Handlebar. A fully integrated handlebar system engineered for lightweight efficiency, long-distance comfort, and confident control across all riding conditions.
The Obelisk seat post provides support and rigidity during the most challenging rides. Designed with a classic two-bolt clamp system for easy and reliable adjustments.
From the explosive power of a sprint to the sustained effort of a mountain pass, the Aequus delivers precision-engineered performance tailored to your power, weight and riding style. All you need to do is take it out for a spin!
