The new Argon 18 Anti Matter is engineered with one purpose in mind: fast gravel riding regardless conditions and terrain. This is a bike where aerodynamics, stiffness, and speed come first. As efficient as a road bike but purposed for modern gravel racing.
The Anti Matter is built around 3 different technologies:
- Argon Fit system, offering size-specific geometries to ensure an optimal performance and positioning for all sizes.
- Gravel specific geometry based on the endurance line of Argon 18, providing responsiveness and a race-ready positioning.
- Pro level lay-up, a combination of an advanced carbon lay-up and proven aerodynamics. Argon 18 claims the result is a 14.5 watt advantage over the Dark Matter (+/– 15° yaw, wind-averaged drag at 45 km/h).
The bike has a massive 55 mm tyre clearance. The low-dropped stays and the horizontal connection with the seat tube improve the aerodynamic performance and increase the central stiffness.
Top of the range is the RED XPLR AXS E1 version, available in a iridium silver finish. It is equipped with a SRAM RED XPLR drivetrain, an ATTEN x Apidura frame bag, the ultralight ATTEN CHB-01 Aero Handlebar, a CeramicSpeed SLT headset & coated T47 bottom bracket and a ZIPP 303 XPLR SW wheelset. This bike comes at a price* of € 11.995.
Alternatively, you can opt for a SRAM Force XPLR version, including the same framebag, handlebar and wheelset. It comes in 3 different colours: sea foam/neon, mystic dune and iridium silver. Price*: € 8.495.
Builds start with the SRAM Rival AXS version including framebag, handlebar, CeramicSpeed bearings and a DT Swiss G1800 wheelset. Colour: mystic dune only. Price*: € 5.995.
The Argon 18 Anti Matter is built with a single focus on performance; it redefines what a gravel race bike can be.
