The Pinarello Dogma XCR was developed in close collaboration with Tom Pidcock. His feedback resulted in the Dogma XCR, a winning platform in cross-country racing. Engineered to deliver the balance of efficiency, precision and control required by modern XC competition.

The Dogma XCR stands out in innovation across several key areas. The unique bottom bracket area is extremely stiff thanks to the oversized bearing and rear triangle pivot design. The triangle holds only three pivot points but thanks to the specific geometry and the flex stays, it allows sufficient rear suspension travel. Reducing weight and increasing stiffness at the same time.

The split rear triangle eliminates the need for an additional connection between the two separate half rear sections. It increases handling and responsiveness and allowing mud clearance while installing wider tyres. Anti-rise and anti-squat values have also been taken into consideration to maximise performance for both up-and downhill trails.

Good to know is that the rear suspension position can be adjusted to offer the travel you need. The integrated cockpit has been custom-designed and provides greater steering precision and keeping cable nicely tucked away.  

The geometry and kinematics haven’t changed much compared to the previous versions. The main update is the selection of components. The Dogma XCR is aimed at uncompromising cross-country racers chasing every second, whilst the XCT range is designed to make you feel comfortable when you’re not racing against the clock.

The Dogma XCR comes with a SRAM XX SL AXS powermeter setup, RockShox SID Flight Attendant suspension (120 mm) and dropper post and DT Swiss XRC1200 wheels. Price*:  € 15.000. The Toray T900 UD carbon frame weighs about 1.750 grams.
