The new Stelbel Ti9 aims at riders who want to combine fast riding with comfort. It sits in the upper end of the performance range of Stelbel just under the SB/04, which has a slightly more aggressive geometry and of course lacks the natural resilience that only titanium can provide. The Ti9 is a frame that is built as much for competition as for the pure and lasting pleasure of riding your bike.
The T9.2 is built from a dedicated tubing set in Grade 9 titanium, developed by Columbus. Grade 9, the Ti-3Al-2.5V alloy, offers one of the most favourable balances of strength, workability and weight available in titanium frame building. Columbus has been the long-lasting partner when it comes to steel and stainless steel. Now the partnership extended to dedicated titanium tubes supplier as well.
The T9.2 update of the Ti9 includes several new features over its predecessor. It holds 3D printed rear dropouts using SLM technology. The Ti9 is now UDH compatible for the first time. Other key features are the T47 titanium BB shell, a new head tube and the integrated seat clamp.
Unlike many other frame builders, Stelbel chose to design and develop their own fork to go with all road models. The Evoluzione features a D-shaped reinforced steerer that allows to fully hide cabling, offers a tyre clearance up to 35c and a visual continuity with the frame that only a dedicated design can achieve.
All frames are made-to-measure, offering an exact adaption to your personal data. It results in a ride that is both fast on flats and confident in descends. The titanium absorbs road vibrations easily, which makes you go for another spin at the end of your ride.
The looks of the Stelbel Ti9 are stunning. Especially in this raw titanium finish. Although most bikes are orders in this natural look, Stelbel offers 15 colours to choose from.
