Van Rysel introduces the new RCR-G and EDR-G gravel bikes. Two different bikes with two distinctive riding experiences. The RCR-G is built for speed in modern gravel racing, the EDR-G is designed for riders who want a comfortable ride over longer distances.
The RCR-G was developed in close collaboration with the DECATHLON – CMA CGM professional team. Engineered from scratch to create the fastest possible gravel bike. All aspects of the bike are aerodynamically optimised using extensive CFD analysis, virtual prototyping and wind tunnel testing. Resulting in an 8.6-watt saving over the previous generation.
At the heart of the bike sits an 885 grams high-modulus carbon frame (size M, unpainted) combined with a 417 grams carbon fork. Using premium carbon fibre in a gravel specific lay-up, offering both stiffness and comfort. Adding to that comfort is the possibility to fit tyres up to 50 mm and the vibration-damping carbon seat post.
The result is a gravel race bike with an aerodynamic efficiency that allows fast rides across both paved and unpaved terrain. Top of the range is SRAM RED XPLR AXS-equipped model weighing just 7.7 kg (size M). It comes at a price* of € 6.599 in 3 different colours; black, light green/blue and a green/yellow/pink combination.
The RCR-G isn’t designed for touring, but for pure performance. Road-racing DNA injected into an off-road chassis to deliver the ultimate race weapon. For you to take on the challenge.
