Since the Athertons started their own bike brand back in 2019, they developed several different models. Although the catalogue expanded ever since, one thing remains the same, the unique manufacturing process combining tubes with 3D printed titanium or CNC-machined aluminium lugs. And with numerous world titles and WC victories the Atherton name stands for performance and (downhill) reliability.
You have A-series and S-series at Atherton. The A stands for Additive, by 3D printing, material is added. The S stands for Subtractive, material is removed by CNC-machining. The carbon tubes in the A models are 3D printed; the S series are made of aluminium.
The A.130 is the perfect bike for challenging trails, whether up- or downhill. It passed all possible tests so you can fully rely on the bike going at speed. It comes in 22 (!) different sizes so there is one that fits you perfectly. Finding the right size is one of the key requirements when buying an Atherton. And with 29” wheels and 130 mm of rear travel, this bike will take you anywhere.
The A.130 is constructed from titanium lugs and custom-built carbon tubes to maintain the perfect balance of stiffness and compliance. The A.130.1 is built with Fox elements and a SRAM T-type drive train. The perfect combination of frame and components.
