The new Cannondale SuperX is the successor to the SuperSixEVO SE and the top bike when it comes to gravel riding at Cannondale. But the SuperX can be used for cyclocross competition as well.
The frame has been completely redeveloped using proven concepts. Such as the Delta Steerer tube with fully integrated cabling. Combined with the SystemBar R-one cockpit, this forms a very sleek unit. Frame tubes have been aerodynamically redesigned but still comfortable to wear in the case of cyclocross use.
The OutFront geometry pairs a slack head angle with a longer-than-normal 55 mm fork offset offering increased stability and control while maintaining snappy handling for quick line changes or corrections. The chain stays are flatter than before and provide more comfort.
The top model in the SuperX range, the Lab71 version, uses ‘series 0’ carbon, which results in a frame weight less than 900 grams (56 cm). The Lab71 includes the D-tube aero seatpost offering more flexibility and comfort.
Cannondale uses the so called Proportional Response Construction during production. Each frame size has its own carbon geometry. This ensures equal riding characteristics regardless the size you ride. Tires up to 48 mm can be mounted at the rear, up to 51 mm at the front.
The Cannondale SuperX will be available in 3 versions and as a separate Lab71 frame set. Prices range from € 4,499* for the SuperX 3 to € 14,999* for the complete Lab71 model. The frame set is available at for € 5,499*.
