Last Sunday Wout van Aert won the Marly Grav gravel race in an impressive solo. On his yellow/black team machine, the Cervélo Áspero-5. The bike is available in a black or light grey finish. Or as LTD frameset in a black current colour with golden decals. A feast to the eye.
The new Áspero-5 was launched last year and is 66 grams lighter than its predecessor, despite the aerodynamically optimized and wider tubes. It is 37 Watts faster than the previous model. And claims to be 34 Watts faster than the next competitor.
It offers a tyre clearance for 45 mm tyres, but Cervélo states that most aerodynamic advantage is obtained by fitting tyres with a 4 mm difference, for instance 40 mm front and 44 mm rear.
The carbon aero frame features an integrated downtube storage for your essentials and a threaded bottom bracket. Ready to race. Van Aert proved it.
The LTD frameset comes with a carbon stem, handlebar and aero seat post. Weight: 2,38 kg. Price*: € 5.599.
