The Marconi steel road bike as displayed on the CeramicSpeed stand at the MADE show made us curious about the Cicli Barco brand. A brand that has been around since 1947, so it is about time that we write about them on Cyclonista. Especially considering the beautiful handmade frames they produce.

Cicli Barco is a true family-driven company. All members share the same passion to create the finest steel bike frames. Backbone of the family is Alberto Barco, specialized in TIG welding, a technique that he has learned since his first appearance in the cycling industry. His welds have now reached such a high level that are no longer a simple connection between tubes, but a real work of art.

The company produces frames in several materials, often combined. Like the Quinta Strada, a combination of steel and carbon. The bicycle we noticed on the CeramicSpeed stand was the Marconi, a steel road bike equipped with premium components. It features a carbon fork, although Cicli Barco produces steel forks as well. For both road and offroad us.

We truly admire bikes that combines traditional bike manufacturing with the latest technology, like the components of CeramicSpeed.
