Every 6 weeks the editorial team of Cyclonista selects the top 6 bikes that were published on our website over the last 1,5 month. We took a closer look of what we have spotted across all categories; road, gravel or mountain bike.
The most important criterion: the wow factor! The bikes we admire the most and made us a little bit greedy.
Your brand not in the top 6? No worries, we love you all. The products on Cyclonista are the best on the market so if you are mentioned, you are amongst top range bikes available on the market today.
But we like to challenge ourselves. That’s why we select only 6. Here we go!
6. TREK FUEL EX 9.9 AXS GEN 7

OK, it is out there for a while now, but as TREK is celebrating its 50th anniversary, we would like to give them a present with a spot in our top 6. The 7th generation of the Fuel is better than ever. A great choice for all-terrain use, whether up-or downhill.

5. BASSO PALTA III

The new Palta is the most versatile gravel bike of Basso. It allows for fast races or multi-day trips. The bespoke luggage by Apidura offers room for long rides in the saddle. Basso claims it to be the only gravel bike you need. Perhaps they are right, but you can’t have enough bikes in the garage in our opinion. Nevertheless, a multi-purpose tool for adventurous riders.

4. COLNAGO STEELNOVO

Colnago makes a tribute to the use of steel in cycling manufacturing. It reinvented the use of this traditional material by using today’s technologies. The Steelnovo features high quality Columbus steel tubes, 3D printed joints and seamless welds. Equipped with Campagnolo’s Super Record drivetrain and Ultra WTO wheels, the bike is a feast to the eye.

3. CUBE PHENIX C:68X SLT

With a weight of only 8,7 kg, the new Phenix is ready for steep climbs and fast accelerations on the flat. The new, matrix black and white, paint design makes heads turn. So, if you are looking for a fast hardtail with great looks, here it is.

2. PASSONI OT-01 | OMNI TITANIUM

The art of combining titanium manufacturing craftmanship and 3D technologies: the Passoni Omni Titanium. What a staggering design. The light green finish of the fork and handelbar matches the raw titanium look. But art comes at a price. But hey, we would hang this on our wall. For hours to look at.

1. OFFICINA BATTAGLIN CORTINA

With today’s Winter Olympics in Cortina d’Ampezzo, there could only be one winner of the first round of Cyclonista’s Six: the Officina Battaglin Cortina. The shimmering pink/purple colour of the frame reflects the “enrosadira”, a natural phenomenon in the Cortina d’Ampezzo region. The frame is a blend of high-end materials; carbon tubes integrated in titanium lugs. The pink coloured frame and the glossy and matt black components give the bike a staggering look. Almost like a natural phenomenon.

The next top 6 will be published end of March 2026. Watch this space!
