The ENVE SES 4.5 wheelset has been redesigned to reduce weight and increase its aerodynamic efficiency. The wheels have been specially developed for use over flat and hilly terrain. The redesign gives the new SES 4.5 more versatility through pinch-flat resistance and a weight reduction without compromising on speed.

With an internal rim width of 25 mm, the SES 4.5 is a game-changer on technical courses with imperfect asphalt. Like the rest of the SES wheels, the SES 4.5 is optimized for tubeless performance on the road and features a hookless bead design (ENVE patented).

The ENVE Premium Straight Pull hub features in all SES and G Series wheels and contains an all-new, 100% ENVE drive mechanism. Oversized steel ratchets are positioned in a way that reduces stress on the axle and bearings, while ensuring a positive and reliable engagement.

In-frame development and ride testing show that the unique rim shapes and the specific construction of the front and back wheels optimize efficiency and ride experience. Front wheels are designed to maximize crosswind stability. A rider’s stability on the bike, especially in time trial and triathlon, is critical for aero efficiency and overall performance. Rear wheels are designed to recapture air flow as it passes from the front of the bike to the back, which maximizes drag reduction.
