Garbaruk GEN2.0 is the result of extensive R&D carried out through 2025 and features the biggest update of the Garbaruk cassettes so far. The improvements are so significant that they felt this new generation deserved its own name, GEN2.0.

GEN2.0 redesigned tooth profiles and shifting ramps ensure precise shifting behaviour and smooth chain running in all possible conditions. Even in the case when the derailleur is somewhat incorrectly indexed. Strategically placed micro-chamfers on the teeth reduce chain contact friction, improving smoothness running and lowering overall drivetrain noise. Larger spaces between the teeth enable faster removal of dirt.

The new cassette is fabricated from a hardened steel monoblock with one single (largest) aluminium sprocket, claiming to be the best balance between weight (just 340 grams) and durability. Despite its wide range, the cassette is compatible with a standard SRAM AXS XPLR 12-speed rear derailleur. The cassette is available with 8 different coloured sprockets for a matching look with your bike.
