The KMC MTB team by Dutch former Olympic Champion Bart Brentjes continued its cooperation with Belgian Cycling Factory in 2026. New team weapon, the Nukeproof Hyperfly.
The Nukeproof Hyperfly is almost identical to the Ridley Raft XC the team competed with last year, but renamed and of course, in a new design. It features a progressive geometry with a single pivot rear suspension.
DT Swiss supplied both rear and front suspension and the XRC 1200 wheels. A TRP EVO 12-speed mechanical drivetrain is installed. Brakes are from the same TRP EVO range. Seat post is by KS, the carbon Lev Ci. A distinctive package of components and certainly different from the competition.
KMC, as main sponsor, supplies the new X12L WAXED TiN Gold chain. Hopefully, this will stand for golden results as well. First races in the 2026 season sure look promising with a victory for Tyler Orschel at Rock Creek Crumble and 2nd place fur US XC champion Kelsey Urban in the Shimano Supercup Massi La Nucia.
