The Grain from the Italian Ornus is a fully integrated wooden gravel bike. A CNC-machined frame with aerospace alloy compounds forms the basis of the bike, it’s ISO 4210 tested and guaranteed for life.
The Ornus Grain is a stiff and lightweight frame, ideal for fast and long off-road rides without sacrificing stability and comfort. With high-quality components and a patented construction, it offers a unique balance between responsiveness and absorption of any possible surface. Each Grain is unique, hand-finished and customizable, with performance certification according to ISO 4210 tests.
The frame geometry promotes stability on dirt tracks and responsiveness under acceleration. The controlled humidity processing and stabilization treatments protect the wood from deformation, ensuring reliability even in the most critical conditions. The full integration of cables delivers a clean look and easy maintenance, which would be similar to a carbon, aluminium or steel frame. The wooden frame does not require any special care or specific products, just a wash and dry after each ride, as usual.
