Since the launch of the Wake 6560 wheelset in 2017, Princeton wheels have impressed with their design and excellent test results. It is for a reason that they collaborate with the Ineos-Grenadiers Professional Team, achieving numerous victories in the World Tour.

In the fifth generation of the Wake 6560 wheels, the Evolution series, the distinctive rim shape changed drastically. The current Evolution profile uses alternating deep and flat edge sections with alternating spoke sides. This allows the steeper, high tension spokes, drive side rear spokes and disc side front spokes, to connect to a deeper rim section.

The change in bracing angle helps balance spoke tensions, creating a stiffer, more uniform wheel. This patented technology, Radially Staggered Lacing, is exclusive to Princeton CarbonWorks road wheels.

In addition, the current wheel generation has become even wider with a 21 mm inner width and a 28 mm outer width. Ensuring a perfect aerodynamic integration of tires from 25 mm to 28 mm. The weight of the rim has also been reduced by a further 10 grams per rim.

Wake 6560 Evolution will continue to have a hooked, hole-less, tubeless ready tire bed, which can accommodate clincher/tubed tires or tubeless tires with no tape needed and no tire pressure restrictions.
