Wilier introduced new colourways for the Filante SLR, the Wave. Inspired on natural waves moving across the frame; continuous, unpredictable and never the same. Giving this feather lightweight road bike an extra moving dimension.
The Verticale SLR Wave comes in two new expressions: Sea Black and Coral Bloom. Sea Black explores the ocean’s deepest depths. Dark, intense and in perpetual motion. Less light. More depth. Coral Bloom moves in the opposite direction. Luminous, vibrant, alive. More light. More energy.
Functionally, the Verticale SLR remains unchanged. It is still the lightest bike in the Wilier range (1.623 grams for frame, fork, handlebars and seat post). Manufactured from the highest carbon composite materials (T800, T1100, and M46JB). Aerodynamically improved to keep the CDA (Drag Area Coefficient) as low as possible.
It comes with the latest integrated V-Bar (310 grams) featuring a differentiated handlebar width: when viewed from the front, the grip area at the controls is narrower than the lower section of the handlebar. Internal brake lines through the cockpit have been improved and the stem hides an integrated computer mount.
Top of the range is the setup with a Campagnolo Super Record 2x 13 speed drivetrain, Miche Kleos RD36 carbon wheels and CeramicSpeed bearings. Weight: 6,57 kg. Price*: € 12.600. Frameset including carbon V-bar and rear light comes at € 5.800*. Total builds start at € 7.900*.
