The all-new Revel Ranger has been re-engineered from the ground up. This downcountry bike features new tubes, new links and new pivot points. In short, a total new geometry that would give riders a faster and more confident ride than ever before.
Geometry updates include:
A lower bottom bracket for a more in-the-bike feeling rather than up-the-bike. This translates to better cornering, braking and more traction on slippery tracks.
A steeper seat tube angle results in a more efficient pedalling position.
The reach has been stretched to re-center the rider on short steep climbs.
Head angle is slacker for a more confident descent.
Varying chainstay lengths to ensure a balanced handling regardless frame size.
All this resulted in a more efficient ride up- and downhill. The bike delivers less squat, an active suppleness and maximum traction. Suspension shows a higher compression than its Ranger predecessors. Small bumps disappear and the bike stays planted during the climb. Travel went up to 120 mm in the rear and 130 mm up front.
The new Revel Ranger comes in various setups. From a SRAM Eagle 90 build (€ 4.982*) to a SRAM XX Flight Attendant setup (€ 9.964). Or you can opt for the frame only at € 3.291* including RockShox Deluxe Ultimate shock. Either in Red Zeppelin or Steezy Black.
