Ten years after the OPEN U.P. defined the gravel bike, they have perfected it with the U.P. 2.0 and U.P.PER. 2.0. Although both models are stiff and durable, the U.P.PER 2.0 has a lighter frame by using a different carbon lay-up. The U.P. 2.0 offers more mounting bolts and comes in different colours. The U.P.PER 2.0 is race-ready black only. Both models are also available in an unpainted version.

The design of the front end of both U.P. models is based on aerodynamic performance. The seattube, chainstay & seatstay shapes ensure the comfort OPEN is known for.

Innovative is the OPEN B.A.R. (Break All Rules) integrated handlebar. This is a closed-form 100% carbon composite design. The patented internal clamp system lets you adjust the stem length by 15 mm in 5 mm steps. And with 10 different bars, there is always one that fits.

The U.P. 2.0 and U.P.PER 2.0 come standard equipped with the U-Turn Aero fork. Optional is the U-Turn Adventure fork for more comfort and the opportunity to mount the world’s lightest cargo attachment system (to be released later this year).  

OPEN varies the fork crown shape and height from size to size in order to create the best stiffness and balance for each specific size.

Distinctive is the way the brake calipers are integrated. This is OPEN’s Smartmount direct-mount system that removes the adaptor and two bolts to attach the caliper directly onto the fork.
