The all-new Blur has an updated geometry and refined suspension kinematics at a lower weight. This bike is ready for steep climbs, agile cornering and confident down-country tracks.

The reach has gone up considerably, allowing to ride with a shorter stem and creating a feeling that you ride “in” the bike rather than “on” the bike.  Add a 75-degree seat tube angle and a 66-degree head tube angle, you end up with a geometry for aggressive riding on both climbs and descents. That steeper seat tube is also shorter to allow for using longer dropper seat posts.

The new Blur offers 120 mm of travel, both in the rear and front. Although travel went up, it did not result in a higher overall weight. Santa Cruz managed to slim down the tubes and reduced the amount of carbon in places that matter less. Without compromising on stiffness. Check out the rocker, a great example of design at the lowest weight possible.

There are two available setups, one for racing (using a 60 mm stem and RS SID components) and a standard setup (using a 50 mm stem for a more upright position and featuring FOX suspension). Both come with a lifetime warranty on frame, bearing replacement and Reserve wheels.

The new Blur comes in two finishes, either glossy cherry red or matte charcoal black. Builds start at € 4.999* (Deore) up to € 12.499* (XX AXS). Weight about 11,44 kg. Frameset is available at € 3.899* including a FOX Float SL Factory Shock. And a downtube glovebox.
