The BMC VAR0 series invite riders to customize their bike by providing them with a blank canvas for creating their own dream machine. Initially available on the flagship “Redefined Racing” model, the Teammachine R 01 VAR0 frame and fork feature the same aerodynamic profiles and stiffness but at a lower weight. Thanks to the lack of traditional paint as used on production bikes.  

“Variation Zero” is the starting point of your special project. The “01” top coat just preserves the natural texture of carbon and its unique texture, patterns remain visible, a badge of authenticity and performance.

Although the Swiss brand does not offer customization or painting services, BMC VAR0 is intentionally designed as a creative platform offering riders the freedom to customize their frame through trusted professional painters as recommended by BMC.

In addition, BMC offers the creative files to reproduce and customize BMC brand elements through its dealer network and will soon offer sets of BMC adhesives produced through slikgraphics.com. The frames will be covered by the BMC warranty but not the cost of custom paint. To keep this warranty, it is essential that all legal stickers remain affixed (including serial number and UCI sticker).

For those who want an even lighter version, the BMC Teammachine R Mpc. remains the benchmark as the lightest and stiffest high-performance frame ever made.
