The carbon (all) road bike Surveyor is being built from the ground up by Bridge Bike Works. Designed, engineered and hand made in Toronto, Canada. Their mission: to make the best carbon bike possible for the modern rider.

Bridge states that the Surveyor meets the needs of 90% of all road and gravel riders. Its versatility means that the intended use depends on the components you select. It also means that this is not a hardcore gravel bike, not a dedicated crit racer, but incredible for everything in between.

To enable the various riding conditions, the base frame should meet a broad range of requirements. And it does. It is light (about 900 grams for frame without paint), comfortable, stiff and offers a tyre clearance up to 40 mm. What did we forget? Yeh, it is aerodynamically optimized as well, especially with regards to frontal impact.

Remarkable is the bottom backet area. Through a complex laminating and molding procedure Bridge has been able to produce molded threads into their bottom brackets. This means no more BB sleeve with threads, saving weight and avoiding any misalignment. Above all, gone are the days of a creaking BB.

Frameset is available in 5 standard colours and sizes at a price* of around € 4.600 (CA$ 6.500). Total builds come at around € 10.000 (CA$ 16.000) for either Dura Ace Di2, RED AXS or RED XPLR) or about € 8.150 (CA$ 13.000) for Ultegra Di2, Force AXS, Force XPLR or Shimano GRX). Special colour upgrade comes at a surcharge.

Above mentioned bike was shown at the CeramicSpeed stand during last weeks MADE show. It features a RED XPLR AXS drivetrain with OSPW, an ENVE cockpit and SES 6.7 wheels.
