The new Axxome RR is the flagship in Engine’s road range, alongside models like the GTR and GTO. It is an ultra-light carbon road bike that takes performance to the next level.

Origine is aiming at riders who don’t want to compromise between speed and customization. With the online configurator, you can not only choose the groupset, wheels and tires, but also the colour and finish. The frames and forks are painted in their workshops located in northern France and only using water-soluble paints of automotive quality.

Once your setup is complete you will be contacted by a technical advisor to confirm your choices. A following factory session is one the options in setting up your ultimate ride. But if you are not happy with the outcome later on, you don’t need to worry. Origine offers you a “correct size guarantee”, a further adjustments of parts at no extra charge until a month after purchase.

Origine uses Toray M40X carbon for the frame using a new UML 2 mould technology. With this technique, carbon sheets are compacted in one piece and uniformly around a single matrix. The result is a pure fiber structure without internal defects.

The frame in size medium weighs 749 grams. A complete bike with a standard body comes out at about 6,35 kilograms. According to Origine, the torsional stiffness of the frame is 6 percent higher than that of the earlier Axxome GTR.

The Axxome RR is available from € 8.109* (Ultegra Di2 – 7,3 kg) to € 10.574* (Red AXS E1 – 6,8 kg) but you can make your own configuration with components of your choice.
