The France based Origine teamed up with the Franco-Argentine graffiti artist duo Dimka to transform the Graxx GTR Gravel into a unique, hand-painted piece. At Origine, each bike is hand-painted and assembled in their factory in Northern France. Both parties share a passion for extraordinary creativity.
Dimka Crafts is an artistic street-art duo formed by French-Argentine artist Inca Pagny and Dimitri Gendre. They are famous for vibrant murals, community art projects and hand-painted cars like the famous Bentley T2, a moving piece of art celebrating culture.
Their interpretation of the Graxx GTR shows a transition from sunny yellow to orange, then to red, like a sunset you ride through. Blue waves, hand-painted with a brush, ripple along the entire length of the tube.
The GTR model is the top of the range in the Origine Graxx gravel bikes. It is built for speed and performance, while retaining comfort. For the front Origine applied a fiber molding technique called UML (Unique Matrix Layup). The carbon sheets are assembled on the front triangle in a single operation around a single matrix giving it plenty of stiffness.
The rear of the bike has been manufactured using the Continuous Carbon Tubing technology. The chain stays and seat stays on the Graxx are connected by a single continuous carbon tube, with no hard points between the bottom bracket shell and the seat clamp. As a result, vibrations are filtered across the entire length of the continuous tube. The frame allows tyres fitted sized 700×45 or 650/47 and weighs only 944 grams.
The Origine Graxx GTR M7 AXS comes with a SRAM RED AXS XPLR E1 setup and Prymahl Vega C45 Pro wheels. Total weight of the bike is 7,58 kg and priced* at € 8.033. Finishes and additional options can be configured on the website (example displayed far below).
The Dimka Crafts version is one of a kind. A true piece of art that can be admired in the Origine factory showroom in Rouvignies.
