The recently introduced Zipp’s 353 NSW Tubeless Disc brake is the lightest and most technically advanced wheel in the ZIPP range. It is the first SRAM AXS-connected wheelset that measures tire-pressure in real-time without having to mount an external device to the valve stem. The integrated sensor gives the rider green light before and during the ride monitoring the tyre pressure during all circumstances.
The revised carbon lay-up of the rims further increased the impact strength with over more than 16%. The sawtooth design of the rim measures a width between 35 and 40 mm, providing speed on the flat, the climb and the descend. In addition, the ZR1 SL hub set, featuring ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement, will provide smoothness at a 30 grams lower weight than its predecessor.
The wheels are optimized for fitting 30 mm tyres of the Goodyear Fitment Series. But ZIPP recommends not going offroad with these wheels. In that case you better install the new 303 SW wheelset.
