CUBE launched their 2027 product range this week. We took a closer look at the new Litening C:68X AERO. CUBE claims this bike to take performance to the next level. It’s faster, lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor. At first glance, the design is breathtaking.
The frame and fork have undergone extensive aerodynamic testing, both in wind tunnel and computer simulations. The result, 6.2 watts faster. Simultaneously, CUBE managed to reduce the weight with 7,6%, a reduction of 150 grams in frame and fork. And by applying the C:68X carbon material and allowing a tyre width of 34 mm, comfort has gone up with 10%.
Top of the range offers 3 different models. The SLT version comes with a Dura Ace drivetrain in a modest slate grey finish or a teamline edition; the SLX version is equipped with a SRAM RED drivetrain in a subtle Ocean blue colour. And finally, the Orbit version, a stunning design in a digital carbon finish.
All models come with the IC Aero handlebar. CUBE added palm support on the flat-top section for an ergonomic and comfortable position. In the rear, the new aero flex seat post adds about 10% to that comfort.
The new Litening AERO C:68X offers maximum speed, refined to perfection. At an accessible price compared to most of the competition. Available from January 2027.
